Kirsten Shepard Ahmed, LMT, DC, is the Founder and CEO of TrueStopper, a holistic health company that leverages professionally-formulated and regenerative hemp-based products to better manage chronic pain and promote whole body wellness. For more than 15 years, she has established integrated practices that combine medical, chiropractic, acupuncture and physical therapy approaches to whole body care, including the opening of clinics across Texas and in Los Angeles. Dr. K’s holistic approach to pain relief has led to recognition, by way of awards and teaching opportunities, from Texas legislators and leaders from top hospitals. David W. Bergquist grew up in the small town of Moorhead, MN, where he first learned that hard work and integrity are key components to success personally and professionally. After graduation from Moorhead High School in 1994, Mr. Bergquist attended college at the University of North Dakota where he graduated with a degree in the Bachelor of Arts in 1999. Upon graduation, Mr. Bergquist moved to Houston, Texas to start his career with the accounting giant, Arthur Anderson. With a couple of years of corporate experience under his belt, he enrolled in law school at Texas Southern University, where he graduated magna cum laude. He worked for two litigation firms during and subsequent to graduation. His work at those firms eventually led to Mr. Bergquist’s founding of the Bergquist Law Firm. His law practice focuses on litigation matters, including plaintiff’s accident and personal injury, civil and business litigation, and medical field and healthcare litigation.
Frank Bodnar, DC, is a licensed chiropractor in the states of Wisconsin and Illinois and Brand Manager at Lifestyle Matrix Resource Center. He holds a doctorate of chiropractic from Palmer College of Chiropractic, and Master of Science degree (magna cum laude) in human nutrition from the University of Bridgeport. He is certified in sports nutrition from the International Society of Sports Nutrition (CISSN), and is a certified CrossFit Trainer (CF-L1). He resides in the Chicago area with his wife and two children.
Monika Buerger, DC, graduated from Life Chiropractic College-West in 1991. She also has an undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from California State University, Fresno. She has enjoyed extensive post graduate training in the areas of neurodevelopment, functional neurology, neuronutrition and functional medicine. She currently has a private family practice in Ammon, ID, that is dedicated to serving those with neurodevelopmental challenges, neurodegenerative disorders and chronic health issues. She is the pioneer in the chiropractic profession when it comes to working with children that have Neurosensory and Neurodevelopmental Disorders. Mario Fucinari, DC, is uniquely qualified as a seasoned practitioner and a nationally recognized speaker, author, and instructor. Dr. Fucinari is a Palmer Davenport graduate. He is certified through the American Academy of Professional Coders as a Certified Professional Compliance Officer (CPCO) and a Certified Physician Practice Manager (CPPM). Mark L. Hanson, DC, L.Ac., is a Doctor of Chiropractic and a Licensed Acupuncturist in the State of Texas. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA, on October 1, 1982. His acupuncture career started in 1989 which led him to study with Third Coast Institute in Dallas, TX and American College of Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine in Houston, TX, he graduated with a Masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. In 1994 Dr. Hanson became a L.Ac. (Licensed Acupuncturist) in the State of Texas. He is one of the few practitioners that is dual licensed as a Doctor of Chiropractic and Licensed Acupuncturist. Dr. Hanson currently practices in Dallas, TX. His practices consists of Chiropractic, Acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Dry Needling and other physical modalities.
Cyrus Mahdavi graduated with honors from Texas State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration. Mr. Mahdavi then attended the University of Texas School of Law, where he received his Doctor of Jurisprudence in May 2017. During law school, he worked as a student attorney in the Entrepreneurship and Community Development Clinic, and was an active member of the Business Law Society. Prior to joining the Bergquist Law Firm, Mr. Mahdavi gained valuable experience as a law clerk at the Texas First Court of Appeals, the Harris County District Attorney’s Office, and at a national accounting firm. During his spare time, Mr. Mahdavi enjoys spending time with his family, taking his dog to the park, and playing golf.
Larry Montgomery, DC, is a native of Belton, TX, and a 1981 graduate of Texas Chiropractic College. Dr. Montgomery holds a number of certifications, including TIRSAT Designated Doctor for the Texas Workers’ Compensation Commission, Diplomate of the American Academy of Pain Management and Diplomate of the American Board of Disability Analyst. He is a Past President of the Texas Chiropractic Association and won the prestigious Young Chiropractor of the Year award in 1995 and the Keeler Plaque, presented to the Texas Chiropractor of the Year, in 2017. Dr. Montgomery also was a member of the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners (TBCE) from 2009-2015 and is a frequent lecturer on a wide range of topics. He has taught the TBCE hours at TCA conferences and seminars for the past three years. Dr. Montgomery recently retired after 37 years in practice.
Priscilla Montgomery joined Dr. Montgomery in Belton after their marriage in 1982. During her tenure, Priscilla has assisted Dr. Montgomery with every aspect of his practice from patient care to office management. Today, Priscilla is a licensed x-ray technician, office manager, insurance processor, and accountant for the Montgomery Chiropractic clinics. She also has a flair for opening our satellite locations and designing clinic layouts, particularly as it relates to the front desk and insurance departments. Priscilla shares her extensive experience with new doctors by training insurance seminars and basic office procedures through the Texas Chiropractic Association. Dan Murphy, DC, graduated magna cum laude from Western States Chiropractic College in 1978, and has more than 39 years of practice experience. He received his Diplomat in Chiropractic Orthopedics in 1986. Since 1982, Dan Murphy has served as part-time undergraduate faculty at Life Chiropractic College West, where he is currently teaching classes to seniors in the Management of Spinal Disorders and Spinal Pathology/Neurology. His academic rank at the college is that of Professor. Dan Murphy is on the post-graduate faculty of several chiropractic colleges.
Katherine Pohlman, D.C., M.S. Ph.D., is Director of Research at Parker University and a senior fellow of the Chiropractic Academy of Research and Leadership (CARL) program. She received Researcher of the Year in 2020 from the American Chiropractic Association (ACA), is the current Vice President of the ACA’s Council on Women’s Health, and has served as Vice President of the ACA’s Council on Chiropractic Pediatrics. Dr. Pohlman received her Doctor of Chiropractic (D.C.) degree and M.S. in Clinical Research from Palmer College of Chiropractic and her Ph.D. in Pediatrics from the University of Alberta. Her research interests have focused not only on study methodology, but also on the safety and effectiveness of chiropractic care in special populations including individuals suffering from chronic pain, children, and pregnant/post-partum women.

Brett Winchester, DC, lectures throughout the world, teaching his functional approach to patient care. Jack Wolfson, D.O., F.A.C.C., is a board-certified cardiologist who uses nutrition, lifestyle changes, and supplements to prevent and treat disease. Amy Wood, DC, has been in practice for over 15 years and has become a leader in her profession as a consultant and a speaker.
